Helping Artists Shine!
How Do I Get Started?
Step 1:
Contact us at 720-957-4699 via call or text to schedule your complimentary in-person consultation and art assessment. Alternatively, feel free to visit our new shop from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM.
If you already have your image file(s) ready to go,
proceed to step 4.
Step 2.
Bring the artwork you want scanned to my studio. I can then evaluate things like size, medium etc. We can discuss what your looking for in terms of quality and I can give you an estimate of cost. You leave the artwork with me so I can scan it and edit the image file.
Step 3.
Once I have your artwork scanned and edited, I call you to view the proof copy. If you're happy with the results, you take your artwork home and order prints if you want them.
If you want additional edits we can do that together on the spot. I also provide you with a full resolution copy of your master image file and a web version for posting online.
Step 4.
Make Giclées (Optional)
Giclée is a fancy, expensive sounding French word used by artists to distinguish prints from originals.
Translated to English it means "to squirt".
Basically, any high quality art print made with archival grade media and ink using a professional grade ink jet printer is a giclée.
You can also just call it a print. Giclée prints can be on canvas or paper. You can make 1 or 1000's. They can be any size.
Some artists create "limited editions". Then they sign and number each one and sell them sequentially.
The lower numbers are usually more desirable to own and are sold at the ground floor price, so their value increases the most.
After the artist sells a certain number, they increase the price. This keeps happening until they sell out.
Other artists create open editions and there is no set number. They make them 1 at a time or in small batches and sell as many as they can.
I can make you as many or as few giclées, as you like, in any desired size up to 44 inches x 20 feet. You can also take your file to any giclée shop in the world and get your prints made. You own your file and the copyright, so you're always in control.

The Studio
The new normal
Prior to Covid, I served as the color correction specialist and print production manager at Van Gogh Again Editions, one of the oldest and largest art reproduction studios in the Rocky Mountain region.
Today, I operate my own studio in Boulder, Colorado, and I find myself much happier as a result.
